Huawei is constantly improving on its gadgets and 2014 is not different. After introducing the Ascend P7 flagship smartphone back in May in Paris, France, the Chinese OEM is going to launch the all new Ascend Mate 7, or should I say the next-generation phablet.
As part of Huawei’s campaign for the upcoming IFA 2014 (European electronics trade fair), the company put together another Ascend Mate 7 teaser page, announcing the date of the press event. The press conference will take place in Berlin early next month (see the date on the screenshot above).
The rumour has it that the Ascend Mate 7 features Huawei’s HiSillicon octa-core Kirin 920 processor, which integrates an Mali-T628MP4 GPU. We are looking at a phablet that will probably sport a 6-inch in diagonal Full HD display and will be powered by Google’s Android 4.4 mobile operating system.
