Workshop the Moto Maker tool that the Nexus series needs?
Now that the Motorola brand is going into Lenovo’s portfolio and along with it the so cool online customization tool called Moto Maker, Google is looking to “borrow” the tool for the Nexus series. According to Android Police, Google is already testing a tool called Google Workshop which pretty much does the same thing except it’s for Nexus phones and tablets.
If Google’s Workshop project will go live in the near future, one will be able to create custom cases and live wallpapers for a Nexus 5 or a Nexus 7 pretty much like what you can do for the Moto X through the Moto Maker. Note that “Workshop” is just a codename for this tool.
For now, you should take this with a pinch of salt, as it is only a whisper in AP ear, but wouldn’t it be cool to be able to customize your own case for your Nexus?
