The HTC One (M8) is receiving another slew of Android firmware updates, the unlocked international variant of the popular handset is actively being updated to Android 4.4.3 in select European regions. This follows HTC’s rollout of the update in the U.S.

The firmware dubbed build 2.22.401.4 clocks in at around 613MB, aide from the usual update HTC apps, the new build also features a number of security fixes from AOSP such as CVE-2014-0224 and incorporates number of other fixes/commits from Android 4.4.3 and 4.4.4 (mr2.1) which were subsequently merged into HTC’s sources. Strangely enough, HTC opted  to retain the 4.4.3 moniker instead of bumping the version number to 4.4.4.

Most users in Europe should be getting the new bits via OTA in a matter of days.
