On Monday, July 28, LG Electronics introduced a new Android-based hybrid device on the local market (Korea) called LG Tab Book (11TA740-GA50K). The company did not unveil LG Tab Book pricing or availability in the country, nor if this device will see a global sale at a later date.
In terms of hardware, the LG Tab Book is equipped with a 11.6-inch Full HD screen, it is powered by Intel’s 4th generation Haswell Core i5 4200U chipset, Intel 4400 HD Graphics, it is backed up by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD storage. LG Tab Book comes with 2x USB 3.0, standard HDMI ports, micro SD card slot and it weighs in a 1005 grams.
Tab Book by LG runs on Google’s Android 4.2.2 (JellyBean) operating system version.
