Motorola XT1068 caught in the wild. Is this the Moto G second generation smartphone?
Last year Motorola unleashed two of its most successful smartphones, the Moto X and Moto G, whose sales by the millions brought financial stability after a few years of dry out. A year later the success of the company is carried even further by Moto E an even more affordable smartphone and the availability of Moto X & G world-wide.
This summer Motorola will be launching a new wave of Android phones, amongst which we are expecting the sequel of Moto X dubbed Moto X+1 and a second generation Moto G whose picture just got leaked online.
You might think that what you see in the above photo is a Moto E, but it’s not, according to MallandonoAndroid blog, this is the Moto G sequel, Motorola XT1068. At a close insepction you’ll notice that the speaker grill’s length at the top is bigger than the one on the Moto E.
Moto XT1068 will feature a 4.5″ 720p HD display (320 dpi), a quad-core processor ARM V7 (VFPv4 NEON), Adreno 305 GPU, 8 megapixels camera and dual SIM.
Motorola is likely to announce the second generation of Moto G in the next 60 days.
