LG G3 Beat, the ‘mini’ variant of LG’s new flagship, has been certified in China, and thus its hardware specifications have been exposed.
By the image above, it’s easy to judge that the LG G3 Beat looks exactly the same as the full-fledged LG G3, but only smaller. It even has the IR camera focus. But of course, as it goes with every mini device out there, the LG G3 Beat is toned down in terms of specs. It features a 5-inch display of just HD resolution, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8MP camera, 8GB storage and Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box. The storage is very low for a modern smartphone, but we guess LG put a microSD card slot in there as well.
It won’t be long until LG announces this device. It could happen just before the end of the third quarter of this year.
