Sony Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 compact confirmed by Vodafone Germany alleged document leak.
A leaked document coming from Vodafone Germany supposedly lifts the lid on Sony unveiling two new devices in Quarter 3 (September) of this year. The two devices in question are the Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 compact, which will be released only six months after their predecessors.
A document picked up by German tech site Go2Android.de deciphered the internal document which is written in German which reveals that Sony will be releasing two new flagships before September ends. As well as the Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 compact, Sony will be unveiling an Xperia E1 and Xperia T2 Ultra.
The German document doesn’t give us any insight into exact hardware and software specifications but, a previous leak has shown us the device running on the bench-marking tool AnTuTu which showed the purported device beating the likes of the HTC One M8, Galaxy S5 among others with a score of 37169.
The alleged date of this release is still a long way off and you can bet your bottom dollar that there’ll be a huge amount of information leaked from now until Sony’s keynote at the IFA 2014 event in Berlin between September 5th and September 10th.
As usual we’ll keep you up to date on information as it comes through. Meanwhile, we encourage you to read our Sony Xperia Z2 Review.
