Samsung is continuing its trend of releasing the high end software features which can be found on its flagship, the Galaxy S5 to its plethora of other devices. This time it’s the turn of the Galaxy Note 3 which has just received an update bringing it Download booster, Kids mode and its Knox software which is geared at businesses. The Note 3 3 attained all these new features via an OTA update.

In the UK if you’re rocking the unlocked Snapdragon 800 variant of the Note 3 you can now receive the OTA update, with Samsung assuring users that other markets will be soon to follow. The update weighs in at around 185 MB and changes the firmware version to  N9005XXUFNF4.

The update brings some pretty good new features to the already feature-rich Galaxy Note 3, if you have children you’ll be a fan of the kids mode which brings greater piece of mind to parents concerned their children might be looking at questionable content on their smartphone.
