Evidence to support the existence of the LG Liger, model number LG-F490L, has been scarce, it started out as just a rumor, but the Odin running device turns out is very real. A leak from a relatively new leaker @upleaks suggested that the LG device which was spotted on Antutu benchmark website might be running on LG’s new Odin chipset.
So what kind of device is the LG Liger? According to different sources, the LG Liger whose model number is LG-F490L will probably be the first LG device to feature a in-house chipset dubbed Odin made by LG. We also have to acknowledge the fact that the LG G3 Prime (LG-460L), a higher end version of LG’s flagship device LG G3 will feature a Snapdragon 805 processor.
But we should also have in mind that there are a couple of devices that LG Electronics will be launching later in the year, one of them being the LG G Flex 2 and the LG Vu 4, so any of these device might be the rumored LG-F490L, but only time will tell.
On the other hand, LG might not use the Odin chipset on the G3 Prime, but it might just use it on other aforementioned high-end LG devices. Either way, we advise to take this with a pinch of salt as it’s just a wild rumour at this point and the source is not a reliable one, at least until proves otherwise.
