LG is now shipping its new G Pad 7.0, 8.0 and 10.1 in Europe. The South Korean company has confirmed that the different models will be in store in the coming weeks.
The LG G Pad 7.0 will initially hit shelves this week itself, earlier than the larger models which are slated to be on sale within the next few weeks. Spec-wise the LG G Pads share roughly the same specs but none of those tablets are high end judging by the mediocre IPS displays topping a resolution of 1280 x 800 (WXGA). Under the hood things are fairly decent with their 1.2GHz quad core silicon (likely Qualcomm) backed by 1GB of RAM and expandable storage.
The differences between the three models come down to the internal storage which bests at 8GB for the 7.0 model in contrast to 16GB for the other models, 4000, 4200 & 8000mAh batteries and camera setups (3MP/1.3MP, 5MP/1.3MP and 5MP/1.3MP respectively).
The trio all feature Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box with exclusive LG Apps such as QPair 2.0, essentially allowing users to connect the G Pads with other devices via Bluetooth.
The LG G Pad 7.0 and 8.0 will be available in Black, White, Luminous Orange, Luminous Blue while their larger brother will be limited to Black or Red only.
