On Monday at Computex 2014 Asus showcased a lot of MeMo Pad’s, Transformer Pad’s and FonePad’s, but also a new addition to its Transformer series, the all new Transformer Book V (read five). According to Asus, the Transformer book V is the world’s first five-mode, three-in-one converged laptop that features a Windows and Android laptop and tablet as well as an Android smartphone. Confused? Dont be.

In laptop form factor, the Transformer Book V has a full Qwerty keyboard and touchpad, which runs both Windows 8.1 and Android 4.4. The tablet portion carries the Intel Core processor, a HD display, and 128 GB of storage but when docked into laptop mode, the device has up to 1 TB. The smartphone has 4G LTE connectivity and uses an Intel Atom quad-core processor, along with a 2500 mAh battery.

Switching between the two systems only takes a tap on the screen, and yes, you do get access to the Google Play store and Windows store as well.

Asus didnt say when the device will go on sale, neither did they mention the price it would go for.
