RM-980V Vertu spotted in AnTuTu benchmark tests.
Vertu is well-known for its luxury mobile phones, a brand that Nokia sold to EQT a couple of years back for around $200 million. Although it is a luxurious line, the specs of their phones are mostly modest, however Vertu’s strategy might have changed in 2014, as the company is apparently working on a smartphone with high-end specs.
According to a benchmark listing on AnTuTu website, Vertu RM-980V is equipped with a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, it features a screen with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage and Google Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system.
Other specs include a 13MP rear snapper and a 2MP front-facing camera.
We have no idea when the Vertu RM-980V will see the light of day, nor at what price tag, however it could debut in the first half of 2014.
