At the beginning of the month Google broaden their support for developer sales which allows developers from 13 new countries to sell apps and games through Google Play store bringing the total to 45 countries with support for local developers. Google also increased their buyer currency support to a total of 60 countries with the addition of 28 new ones.

Today, Google marks another milestone by allowing Android users from 12 countries (Austria, Belgium, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, United States, United Kingdom.) to buy apps and games using a PayPal account.

However there is a downside of this feature “PayPal can’t be used to purchase devices or accessories on Google Play or for other purchases that use Google Wallet outside of the Play Store.”

Have you made your first Android app purchase via PayPal, yet?
