Moto E price at O2 is £10 less than announced by Motorola.
Motorola announced the other day that Moto E would be joining its family of devices including; the Moto X and Moto G and now 02UK have announced that they’ll be selling the device for the low, low price of £79.99 on pay as you go, which is actually £10 less than the was expected when Motorola announced the phone.
Although the phone retails at a low-end price, it still packs a punch and has a few tricks up its sleeve which you won’t find on other similarly priced smartphones. The Moto E is advertised as a rugged phone, so it should be able to take the odd drop and hit. There’s also a splash proof guard on the screen for if you want to risk taking a selfie in the bath and an anti smudge coating on the screen for good measure.
Powering the budget device is a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 clocked at 1.2 GHz and keeping everything ticking over is a non-removable 1980 MAh battery. The Moto E’s screen is a 4.3 inch 540 x 960 display, that’s a pixel density of 256 PPI.
Round the back of the £79 device is a 5 megapixel snapper, unfortunately round the front is no secondary camera, so you will have to make do with just the one. Although, the Moto E only has 4 GB of on-board storage there’s a microSD slot which allows you to expand the storage up to 32GB, perfect for the budding photographers out there.
