Samsung SM-T800 tablet receives FCC certification.
It’s no secret that Samsung Electronics is about to unveil a new range of Galaxy Tablets soon under the rumoured names Galaxy Tab S and Galaxy Tab T. We even laid our eyes on the alleged Galaxy Tab S design a few days ago and now thanks to the FCC, we get to see the device even closer and from various angles.
Samsung SM-T800 aka Galaxy Tab S 10.5″ just went through the usual testing process at the FCC before receiving approval and thanks to that, we can have another look at its design, although in a pretty blurry manner. As you can notice, the small dimples (Galaxy S5-like texture) on the back are not visible.
Hardware wise the Galaxy Tab S 10.5″ is said to feature a WQHD display with a 2560 x 1600 screen resolution and a pixels density of 288 ppi. Also the SM-T800 will run on the latest Android version, 4.4.2 KitKat.
As you can see from one of the pictures below, the diagonal of the SM-T800 tablet is 267.2 mm, which matches perfectly the 10.5″ display rumours.
