In a “Say Goodbye to Flip Phone” kind of press event held in London earlier this morning, Motorola introduced to the press a couple of new smartphone: the Moto E and Moto G 4G.
I guess by now everyone is familiar with Motorola’s Moto franchise launched about 9 months ago and their flagship smartphone Moto X, which “brought new value to smartphone buyers through exclusive experiences like Touchless Control and Moto Maker,” and now they want “to radically transform the mobile industry once again by making quality smartphones that can do great things, available to practically everyone.”
Moto E: Made to last and priced for all
The latest affordable smartphone coming from Motorola, Moto E packs 4.3-inch display with 256 ppi and a sheet of Gorilla Glass on top of it to protect against scratches and other minor impacts. The phone feature a unusually large 1980 mAh battery for its size, which is good for consumers. The phone runs on the latest version of Android, 4.4.2 KitKat.
Other features include a 1.4GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor, 5MP main camera, up to 32GB external storage via a microSD slot, Radio FM and the best part is that all this costs only £89 SIM Free.
Moto G with 4G is now available in the UK and Ireland from £149. It is available through various carriers and retailers including EE, O2 and Phones 4u. It will also be distributed by Tech Data Mobile. Check with your local carrier and retailers for details on price and availability.
