Picked as the most innovative smartphone of 2013, probably because of its flexible curve, the LG G Flex hasnt turn much head when it comes to consumer choice, and that due to its spicy pricing and some not so great features like the OS version it is running out of the box (Android 4.2) and the 720p HD screen.

LG G Flex gets Kitkat update:

Those that choose to buy an LG- LS995 through Sprint carrier’s 2 years contract deal for $300, should know that a software update is on the way since last week bringing Android 4.4 to the flexible handset, however it is being pushed out on stages over the air, so it might take a while before it reaches all LG G Flex devices on the Now network.

If you havent been notified for an upgrade, you can always go ahead into Settings – About phone – Software updates and check if a new firmware build ZV6 is available.

Got it? Let us know in the comments below hows the phone performing now that it is running Kitkat.
