It is no secret that LG Electronics is going to announce the LG G3 flagship smartphone in the coming months, we’ve even laid our eyes on an LGG3 Gold packaging not to long ago and on the alleged back plate design of the device.
LG has just started sending out invites to May 27th simultaneous events (presumably LG G3 event), which will take place in San Francisco, New York and London, followed up the next day by other three events in Istanbul, Seoul and Singapore.
As you can see the press invite doesn’t specifically names the G3, however the capitalised G in Ralph Waldo Emerson quote (see top image) used on the invitation, hints at the launch of a new G series phone, and corroborated with LG’s confirmation that their flagship will be available in the second half of 2014, according to their financial report published yesterday, it could mean only one thing, that LG G3 is launching in about a month from now.
It has also been speculated that this generation of flagship phone will feature a brushed aluminum housing, much like the HTC One M8.
Would you fancy buying an LG G3 with a metallic body?
