The LG G3 doesn’t just have it’s predecessor to beat, it also has to fight off competition from the likes of Samsung’s Galaxy S5 and the HTC One (M8) and if some of the latest rumours are to be believed it doesn ‘t look like the G3 is going to disappoint.
LG’s 2014 will flagship will purportedly feature a 5.5 inch screen, slightly larger than what the G2 currently has to offer and will come packing an impressive QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440, that equates to a blistering 534 pixels per inch, blowing all the competition out of the water, with the majority of the competition featuring 1080p displays. There’s also been two new leaks one courtesy of the never-ending leak machine @evleaks who has released an image showing the front and back profile of an unknown LG device with the model number LG D805, which doesn’t match up with any of LG’s current portfolio, making one assume it could be the G3.
The Verge has also come into contact with a leak image showing the alleged LG G3 box of the golden variant, and also information suggesting the new device will be released in the summer of this year. Is this the real deal? Let us know what you think in the comments and on Twitter.
