After some initial hick ups regarding Xperia Z2 pre-orders in the UK, it appears the site to order one is now back up and running, the current time frame for receiving your new device is somewhere next month.
The phone was supposed to be launched by Sony by the beginning of April, but due to stock shortages that time-scale has been put back to next month, despite Sony initially assuring customers that that wouldn’t be the case.
This mishap could impact negatively on Son’y sales, with the M8 and S5 already having being launched consumers looking to get their hands on a new device could jump ship, although the Sony Xperia Z1 was a popular phone, so it’s unlikely this will massively impact sales.
In the U.K the Xperia Z2 retails for around the £599 mark and Sony are even throwing in a free pair of their SRS-BTX300 NFC speakers. Deliveries will begin early May, according to Sony’s online shop.
