Samsung Galaxy S5 Gold exclusive on Vodafone UK

Regardless of your opinion on the recent obsession over gold-like phones, you can’t deny they’ve been popular, people just love anything that shine like the gold.

So, Vodafone must have been pretty pleased with themselves as on Monday they confirmed that they’ve scored exclusivity over the gold Samsung Galaxy S5 in the UK from launch. Of course, it will be selling the other colours which are available such as; black, white and blue and pre-orders will begin on March 28th.

The Galaxy S5 was announced at MWC 2014 at the end of last month and boasts such features as; a 5.1 inch HD 1080p display, quad-core 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor along with 3GB of RAM. Samsung have also upped the ante with a 16 megapixel camera. As well as all that there’s the new fingerprint scanner for security purposes and a heart rate sensor on the back of the device to tie in with their “S-health” suite of apps.

The device will ship with Android 4.4 KitKat, come in flavours of 16GB and 32GB and you also have the ability to expand your phone’s memory up to 128GB via the microSD slot. Vodafone had this to say about the exclusive deal in a blog post.

“Earlier this month, Samsung unveiled its latest and greatest flagship, the Galaxy S5, to the world. At Vodafone we were pretty excited to be able to say that we’ll be stocking the new Android powerhouse (which will be available to pre-order on 28 March), and today we can officially announce that the gold colour option will be a Vodafone exclusive from launch.”

  1. There are so many resources out there the consumer
business owner can pit each vendor against each other to get the best deal
possible. Don’t forget that there are some great freelance sites to assist with
some of the more mundane tasks – getafreelancer.com is just one such site. Web
hosting (and email hosting) have come a long way. There really is no reason you
should be using an address space that isnt your own domain. While 1 to 1 is
good for inexpensive hosting, I have found that Hostmonster is superior. Their
customer service is second to none. For web conferencing an additional
possibility is Talking Communities, tcConference offering. Very low cost. For
project management – to keep resources properly managed as you start up your
business – you may want to use an decent online project management site.
Projjex.com is a great, low cost alternative. And last but not least, if you
need storage in the cloud,. You only pay for what you use and it is very
