The new HTC One has been put on eBay today. It’s the Verizon variant which sports 4G LTE and it costs $499.99.
Contrary to the current belief, HTC will call its new flagship simply, HTC One, without the ‘all new’ moniker. That’s just what Google did with the second generation of the Nexus 7, and it makes sense. The retail box of the device will be the one which is in the picture above.
Specs-wise, the HTC One is a beast. It packs a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage plus a microSD card slot, 5-inch FullHD display, dual rear Ultrapixel camera and BoomSound stereo speakers. It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Sense 6.
We are sure HTC will launch the new One on not only Verizon, but all the major US carriers in short time after release. If the price is really this good, the HTC One will be a really sweet deal.
