HTC Desire 816 and HTC Desire 610 announced today at Mobile World Congress by Taiwan-based mobile maker, HTC.
HTC revealed a couple of new devices today at MWC,one of them being HTC Desire 816, the device which in leaks was going by the name Desire 8. It seems HTC finally produced a phone which isn’t as expensive as its flagship devices,and still manages to pack quite a punch.
The HTC Desire 816 will cost between $150-300 in selected markets,and according to its specs, is definitely a device to look out for. The device has 5.5-inch 720p display and is powered by a 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core SoC coupled with 1.5GB of RAM.Unlike HTC,the device will have a Micro-SD slot, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera and 8GB of internal storage. Powering the device is a 2,600 mAh battery.
The HTC Desire 610 on the other hand,sports a 4.7-inch qHD (960×540 pixels) display and is powered by a Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2GHz and paired with 1GB of RAM.An 8MP camera,1.3 MP front camera,a micro sd slot and a 2,040 mAh battery.No word about what version of android they will be running,but definetly a good nod in the right direction for HTC.
