Acer Liquid E3 is a mid-range smartphone, featuring a 4.7-inch 720p display and a 1.2GHz quad-core processor that is most likely a Snapdragon 400 unit. However, it comes with rather uninspiring 4GB of internal storage, but the good news is that it could be further expanded via the microSD card slot that is also found on board. The Liquid E3 packs 1GB RAM, 13MP rear-facing camera with ‘ultra-fast’ focus time, accompanied by a 2MP front-facing snapper.
The Liquid Z4 is a lower-range handset. It has a 4-inch WVGA display and a 1.3GHz dual-core processor with two Cortex-A7 cores. It employs 4GB storage and a 5MP camera.
Both smartphones are running on Android 4.2.2 Jellybean. Acer promises an update to 4.4.2 for both smartphones in the near future though.
The Liquid E3 will be sold for $199, while the Liquid Z4 will carry a price tag of $99. You can expect them to hit your nearest stores in April.
