4.4 KitKat officially dropped for the Galaxy Note 3 some weeks back now, but Galaxy S4 users are yet to see the update hit their phone, so if you’re an S4 owner and feeling a bit left out, there’s some good news in store for you, SamMobile have decided to release one of the latest test firmwares (I9505XXUFNAD) for all the S4 users stuck on Android 4.3.

Some of the changes this update brings are aesthetic, with it bringing in white status bar icons opposed to the variety of colours Samsung traditionally uses there. As well as UI tweaks, there’s also performance and functionality tweaks, Samsung have added a lock screen camera short cut as well as support for full screen album art also into the lock screen. As well as visual tweaks the update also increases the performance of the device, which also increases benchmark scores. The various other updates added include; support for wireless printing, the ability to change the default messaging app and also settings for changing the default launcher.

This is definitely worth a download if you’re stuck on Android 4.3 or have another custom ROM installed, which is getting a bit stale.
