Samsung Galaxy Note Pro available to order in the UK from Clove Technology.
If you take your minds back when 2014 was a young whippersnapper, you’ll remember there was a little electronics show known as CES, at that show Samsung Electronics unveiled some pretty interesting new tablets the Galaxy Note Pro range and Galaxy Tab Pro range, even people who usually write off Samsung tablets were heaping praise on these things.
So, what made these things different to the various iterations of Samsung tablet we’d seen before? well first of all the clue is in the name, PRO is short for professional, this marks a change in the tablet market, not just for Samsung, other manufacturers are turning their tablet lines more professional too.
The NotePRO and TabPRO come with a slew of new professional and productive features, Samsung has acquired a fair amount of software licenses such as; Cisco WebEX, This app usually retails at $144 (£87) and big S have decided to throw a 6 month trial in for free. There’s also E-Meetings and Remote PC which give you the ability to send and receive documents and other files from your PC and also remotely set up meetings between contacts, handy for if you’re out the office.
This is definitely a move away from Samsung Marketing their tablets as something to consume media on and draw silly things with your finger and into them being for the purpose of extending what your PC can do on the move. If this sounds like something you may be interested ordering for, the NotePRO WiFi model is now live and you can pick one up for £550 + VAT at Clove Technology, if you’re still not 100% about getting one and want a refresh, here’s a reminder of what’s inside the NotePRO;
