Asus Gamebox revealed in benchmark tests

Asus Gamebox name spotted in AnTuTu benchmark tests.

Looks like Asus is into building a some sort of Android portable gaming console for us, which could end up as a product similar to Nvidia Shield¬†or Sony’s PS Vita.

The name Asus Gamebox has been spotted by our vigilent readers on AnTuTu benchmarks and it looks like it is more than just a gaming box, as the tests reveal a screen with 1280 x 720 resolution. Asus Gamebox is powered by an Nvidia Tegra 4 chipset clocked at 1.9GHz (quad-core), 2GB of RAM, 8GB built-in storage, probably a microSD card slot as well, and Android 4.3 JellyBean operating system.

We have no idea when this new gaming device will go public, but since we are close to Mobile World Congress 2014, we are taking a guess that Barcelona is the perfect place to introduce such a product. Dont you agree?
