At the current HTC One 2 series leak rate there will be nothing interesting left for HTC to uncover by the time the Taiwan-based mobile maker decides to schedule a press launch event for the upcoming flagship device and its miniature model, HTC One 2 Mini.
It has been said that the event will take place next month in New York and we are expecting HTC One 2 to feature a 5-inch Full HD screen, with 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 CPU, Adreno 420 GPU, 2 or 3GB of RAM, dual UltraPixel back cameras, as well as a 5MP camera in front of the phone, Android 4.4.2 and HTC Sense 6.0 user interface.
Over this weekend quite a few new close-up photos reveal the back camera combo and also two types of LED Flash designs, one of which shows the LED’s merged together while the others show a split LED Flash combo. which makes us think that these are a couple of HTC One 2 prototypes that HTC has been testing for a while now.
The same source also reveals in a side-by-side shot the on-screen (software navigational keys) buttons. The one on the let shows the buttons in landscape mode, while the one on the right are in portrait mode.
All these images seem real enough and they pretty much confirm what all previous leaks showed us, however there’s no official confirmation at this time, so we will have to wait for HTC to show it to us, likely within the next 30 days.
What do you think of the HTC One 2 design and features, is it a must-have phone in 2014?
