With Mobile World Congress just a few weeks away we’re starting to see various details and announcements coming out from manufacturers on what we’re likely to see be unveiled.
LG has announced that they will be unveiling the LG G Pro 2 which will have OIS (optical image stabilization) OIS works by essentially “floating” the lens of the camera, the benefit of this is if the user then takes a shaky photo, the lens will remain steady and the image won’t be blurry as well as improving the clarity of the shot, the OIS also allows more light into the picture with an extended aperture giving you an advantage in a low light situation. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the technology from LG and other brands though, originally debuting in the Nokia Lumia 1020 and then LG featured it in their LG G2.
As well as the OIS technology, the LG G Pro’s camera will be 13 megapixel and be capable of capturing HD slow motion footage and have a burst mode capable of 20 photos.
With a lot of focus on the G Pro 2’s camera it’s easy to forget the other impressive specs inside the device, the Pro 2 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad core processor and 3 GB of RAM. The LG G Pro 2 will also ship with LTE-Advanced and Android 4.4 KitKat
