Galaxy Note Pro pre-orders get green light in the United Kingdom.
After much hype of the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro and Tab Pro series at CES 2014, pre-orders for the 12.2 inch device have started in the UK.
Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 Pre-orders:
With it’s massive 12.2 inch WQXGA screen, S-Pen and an Octa-Core processor (1 x 1.9GHz Quad-Core processor and 1 x 1.3GHz Quad-Core Processor), the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro Pre-orders are sure to get money flowing towards the Korean Tech giant.
However, with a price tag of £649.00 ($1076/€787), it’ll certainly make your eyes water. In an attempt to lessen the blow (or to convince you just that much better), Samsung will ship all Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 pre-orders with a bundle of free software and, for a limited time only, a Samsung Smartphone Gamepad worth £59.
The Gamepad won’t fit the Note Pro, but Samsung clearly feel that if you’re spending all this cash on one of their tablets, you’re more than likely have one of their phones too, which is what the Gamepad was designed for. As the Gamepad is connected via Bluetooth 3, the Galaxy Note Pro may be able to connect with a future update (currently, the Note Pro is not listed as a supported device).
The Free software which will bundled with the purchase of the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 Pre-orders are as follows:
- Bitcasa: 1TB storage for 3 Months
- Bloomberg Businessweek+: 12 months subscription
- Blurb: Free coupon
- Cisco WebX Meetings: 6 months free subscription with unlimited meetings
- Dropbox: 50GB free for 2 years
- EasilyDO Pro: Free App purchase
- Evernote: Free 12 month subscription
- Hancom Office: Free Subscription
- LinkedIn: 3 months Premium membership
- LIVESPORT.TV: 6 month subscription
- NY Times: 12 Week subscription
- Oxford Advanced Learners A-Z: Free app purchase
- Remote PC: 2 years subscription
- Sketchbook Pro: Free app purchase
Clearly, with many of these free apps and offers, Samsung believes the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 will be invaluable in a business setting. With four window multitasking, fast octa-core processor and S-Pen functionality, they’re not wrong. That aside, many of the offers above will be useful for the average home user too. 50GB worth of Dropbox storage isn’t anything to sniff at, and Evernote, EasilyDo, Hancom Office and Sketchbook are all excellent apps that are good to have from a personal point of view anyway (I own 3 of them myself).
All Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 pre-orders are scheduled to be dispatched by February 4th and can be ordered through the Samsung Shop now.
There are currently no word on when the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro will be available for pre-order.
