HTC One 2 (M8) to feature on-screen menu buttons, but no 2K screen

HTC M8 could sport on-screen menu buttons and a Full HD screen resolution, according to the latest gossip.

Looks like our previous sources have been right about one thing, that the 2014 HTC flagship phone will feature a Full HD screen instead of a 2K (WQHD 2560 x 1440) one as many have claimed, the semi-legit confirmation comes from @evleaks who is notorious for pretty accurate intel.

Evleaks shared on Twitter a couple of what he claims are the official HTC One 2 wallpapers, which at a closer look shows 1920×1080 screen resolution. The same source also hints at on-screen menu buttons (navigation keys) like the ones Google and Samsung introduced with its Galaxy Nexus a few years ago, seems like HTC has had it with the physical ones, which lets face it it costs a few bucks to produce.

Other rumored specs include a Snapdragon 805 processor from Qualcomm, Adreno 420 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 32GB built-in storage, a new UltraPixel camera and Android 4.4 KitKat OS with the all new HTC Sense 6.0 on top of it.
