MEIZU MX4G and MX4G Mini names confirmed by Chinese OEM’s general manager on a local social network.
MEIZU mobile maker, the equivalent of Apple in the US, but in China is expected to launch its next-generation Android flagship smartphone (MX3 sequel) by the end of 2014. Although it has been rumoured to launch under the name MEIZU MX4, the chairman of the board, Mr. J. Wong in a post reply to a user on Weibo network, he literally confirmed that the high-end phone will launch as MEIZU MX4G along with a smaller version, named MEIZU MX4G Mini.
Unfortunately for MEIZU fans, the CEO hasnt spilled any information on MX4G hardware, nor any information when these two handsets will go official. The only tid bit of specs info he revealed was that the MX4G will feature a screen of at least 5-inch in diagonal.
The flagship device could feature a 5.5″ WQHD display (2560 x 1440) and the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor with 3GB or 4GB of RAM.
