We love a bargain here in the UK, and as of today we’ve just bagged ourselves one, the aptly named ZTE Blade Q Mini, due to the fact it’s the smallest out of the Blade Q family of 3 (Q Mini, Q and Q Maxi) will be arriving on our shores shortly, priced at the very reasonable £59.99 exclusive to Virgin Mobile.
The Mini comes packing a 4 inch WVGA TFT screen, but no word on the exact resolution. Under the hood powering the whole operation is a dual-core 1.3 GHz “Mediatek MT6572” chip, helped to chug along by a Mali-400 GPU and 1GB of RAM, round the back of the budget device you’ll find a 5 megapixel camera, which is a pretty good deal for the low price. Other notables include Jelly Bean 4.2.2 and 4GB of expandable storage.
Although this phone isn’t going to turn many heads with its specs, not that the ZTE Blade G did, it is an ideal way to introduce the less tech-savvy (I.E your gran) to the world of smartphones, with that price ZTE have a clever strategy in place and we may see a lot more of them in the U.K.
