Moto X officially announced in Europe. Today, Motorola formally introduced to us at a small, but cozy event held in London, Moto X, the flagship smartphone launched last year in the United States.
With this introduction today, Moto X makes its official debut onto the European market. The phone packs exactly the same specs as last year: a gorgeous 4.7″ edge-to-edge HD display, which is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass, it comes with what Motorola calls X8 Mobile Computing System that offers a lag-free (no stutters) user experience, all day battery and possibility to upgrade to the latest version of Android 4.4 KitKat.
In terms of availability, Motorola representatives at the event told us that Moto X will be available starting February 1 in UK, France and Germany. UK customers wll be able to buy the Black model from Phones4U, Carphone Warehouse, O2, Amazon, Techdata and excluively in White for the first three months at Phones4U starting at £25 / month on a contract or SIM Free (unlocked) for £380. The Moto Maker online customization tool however, will be available at a later date.
