Today, we have in our midst a new Odin flashing tool for Linux, windows and mac. It’s a java implementation of Odin called J0din3. If you’ve used Odin before you’ll find this tool extremely similar, if you care to look under the surface though it’s very different. It’s a essentially a large amalgamation of open source software such as; CASUALcore and Heimdall which are utilizing LibUSB drivers.
The goal of the project is to give more users the ability to flash custom roms, CASUAL is making this utility very accessible by bringing it to all the major operating systems (Windows 32/64, Linux 32/64, Mac 64, raspberry pi) and through your web browser.
