Oppo‘s newly-announced mid-range smartphone, the Oppo R1 has received hands-on treatment by a man who was lucky enough to get a unit of the device waiting to be released. He took the device through a full photo shoot and the result was images showing the Oppo R1 in its full glory.
The first thing that will be noticed is that the Oppo R1 has a full-glass body, much like the Xperia Z and Z1. It’s also ridiculously thin, only 7.1mm. The top of the device holds the headphone jack, the bottom has the speaker/microphone grill and the microUSB port, on the left there’s the power key and on the right is the volume rocker. On the back could be found the camera, next to the single-LED flash. It’s fair to note that the device is relatively big, but that’s expected from a smartphone with a 5-inch display.
Speaking of the specs, the Oppo R1 has the 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor, 1GB RAM, 5-inch qHD display, 16GB storage, 8MP back camera and 5MP front-facing shooter.
