Pocketdroid Weekly Top Android Apps & Games [December 9 – 15]

Inka File Manager

Inka file manager does what it says on the tin, it’s a file manager for Android, it gifts you with the ability to copy, move, open delete and archive your files. This is a very handy app to have in the “Post PC age” you can easily navigate through all your files in thumbnail format, there’s also a search function if you’ve got too many to individually flick through. Rating 7/10

Ringtone maker

This is also another self explanatory title, ringtone maker is a pretty advanced music creation app, you can add various effects, like making the tone fade in and out, copy and paste various parts from different tunes. This app also supports a wide variety of file formats such as;  MP3, WAV,AAC/MP4, 3GPP/AMR giving you the ability to make the best ringtone you can which you inevitably grow to hate after about a week. Rating 8.5/10

Pushbullet is another great way to store files on your phone, only this time it syncs phone notifications onto your PC and vice versa. It gives you the ability to send files in the way of push notifications to either your phone or a friends very fast, you can push everything from;inks, pictures, files, lists, notes. A great way to send things in a short period of time. Rating 6.5/10

Pool Billiards Pro

We’ve all done it, been bored out of our minds or tried to avoid eye contact with some one on the train so we’ve fired up some random game and I bet at least once that game has been pool. Pool Billiards Pro isn’t exactly inventing the wheel here but it does give the ability to play various game modes including; Arcade mode with 180 levels, time trials and versus matches where you either play the wits of the computer or a fellow human being over the net. Rating 8/10

Angry Birds Go

Angry birds Go breathes life in some ways into the game we all used to love, various reboots of the franchise have come and gone, from star wars affiliations to season themed levels. It’s been 4 years since Angry Birds first flew onto our phones and it’s been a huge global hit, but admittedly it’s gone stale. Angry birds Go hopes to change that with fresh new gameplay channeling from the age-old classic Mario Kart. You play as the instantly recognizable characters from the franchise like the red bird and the green piggies. Unfortunately like nearly every single game these days it’s gone freemium, so expect various prompts to part with your hard-earned cash in exchange for in-game mechanisms Rating 8.5/10
