Lenovo recently claimed the number 1 spot in the PC industry and is now focusing on new markets such as the fast growing smartphone and tablet industry, announcing new devices – Lenovo S930 & Lenovo S650.
Back in September Lenovo introduced Vibe X, a 5-inch Full HD power-house, but they didnt stop there. Aside from Vibe X, Lenovo also announced Vibe Z an even more powerful smartphone powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 processor and the all new Lenovo Yoga Tablets, with a “revolutionary design and a battery that lasts up to 18 hours.”
Today, Lenovo announces a couple of new mid-range phones,Lenovo S930 and Lenovo S650, both equipped with quad-core processors and Google Android operating system.
Lenovo S930 comes with a 6-inch 720p HD display (245 ppi), packs a MediaTek 6852 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, Mali-400MP GPU, 8MP rear-camera and it has 8GB of built-in storage. Lenovo S930 measures 8.65mm and it weighs in at 170 grams because of its generous 3000 mAh battery.
Lenovo S650 on the other hand, is more compact, but still a mid-range device that feature a 4.7-inch qHD display (234 ppi) and almost similar internals like S930. The S650 comes with a 2,000 mAh battery and it weighs a lot less, only 126 grams. The phone measures 8.7 mm and it is a dual SIM device.
Both Lenovo handsets will be available by the end of December with the Lenovo S650 having a price tag of $365 and the Lenovo S930 $427.
