What we are looking here at is possibly a variant of the recently released LG G Pad 8.3 tablet, also known as LG V500. The tablet that leaked today is called LG V510, and as the name suggests, it’s a member of the 8-inch tablet family.
The source of the leak says that the LG V510 will sport an 8-inch display, a bit smaller than the one on the LG G Pad 8.3, and it will be a Wi-Fi-only model. The specs of the device aren’t confirmed, but we guess a quad-core Snapdragon chip will come into play, and a high-resolution display is in the equation too. We hope it will come with expandable storage, as we think that’s one of those must-have features on a good tablet.
Some other rumors incline that the V510 is a Nexus 8, but we are not biting it, for one of many reasons being that it clearly doesn’t have the Nexus look, and it’s too early for Google to release a new tablet if we calculate by the current scheme. Releases usually happen in the June-July period and late October-early November, so to us it’s wrong to think that Google will break its schedule with a new member of the family.
