Droid DNA

The once treated as a flagship device HTC Droid DNA released via Verizon Wireless in the US, is not yet forgotten. A major update is being rolled out as we speak by the Big Red, which updates the smartphone to Android 4.2.2 JellyBean. Yes, we know it’s not what you’ve probably wanted – Android 4.4 KitKat, notĀ even Android 4.3, but at least it brings HTC Sense 5.0 UI, which adds HTC BlinkFeed, new Dialer, Contacts, Gallery, and a really long list of other new things, that we will let you discover from Verizon’s change log.

The update is spreading out in stages and over the air, and there’s actually two software updates. The first one is build numberĀ 2.08.605.1, and then the second one should be build number 3.06.605.4.

Let us know after upgrade how the new firmware performs on the Droid DNA.
