Asus PadFone Mini leaks in first press image, ahead of next week launch

Asus PadFone Mini

The other day Asus announced PadFone Mini launch event, which will be taking place on Wednesday, December 11 (next week) in Taiwan. Asus PadFone Mini will be in direct competition with devices like Galaxy S4 Mini or HTC One Mini, but it will add a little twist bringing a tablet-dock station, which will transform the smartphone into a small 7-inch Android tablet. Exciting enough? Asus is the manufacturer behind 2012 and 2013 Nexus 7 tablet, probably the most appreciated devices in this segment by consumers.

Today, courtesy of @evleaks, we are taking a really good look at the Asus PadFone Mini which looks strikingly similar (obviously) to its siblings from the PadFone family.

In terms of specs, PadFone Mini will feature a 4.3-inch HD display, 1.4GHz quad-core processor, it is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 CPU, 1GB of RAM, 4G LTE connectivity and Android 4.3 JellyBean OS.
