HTC One Two follow up to the One to launch Q1 2014, patent judge reveals

A UK patent judge unleashed some pretty top secret news on Tuesday in relation to HTC‘s up and coming flagship device. Richard Arnold UK patent judge let slip that HTC’s next latest and greatest would be hitting shelves February of March 2014.

The information surfaced during the currently ongoing patent dispute between Nokia and HTC. Nokia used the evidence in its trial against the manufacturer and HTC’s lawyer neither confirmed nor denied the claims meaning the statement was treated as valid by the judge.

There was no concrete evidence in the way of photos or specifications of the alleged device, but it’s widely speculated that the “HTC One Two” will be the HTC M8 which has been doing the rounds on the web. The purported specs of the M8 are a quadcore 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 or a Snapdragon 805 (recently announced) processor backed up by Andreno 330 graphics or Adreno 420 GPU. The rumoured device will also apparently come ¬†with a 5-inch full HD screen with a resolution of (1920 x 1080) with a 2.1 megapixel front facing camera and round the back a 4-megapixel UltraPixel camera which is what currently sits in the HTC One, you can also expect it to be running 4.4 KitKat and Sense 6.0.

This is further bad news for the Taiwanese firm who on Tuesday were also informed they must stop selling their HTC One mini smartphone in the UK, although they have been given the ability to appeal the decision.
