Last month Samsung Electronics started pushing out a firmware update which was supposed to upgrade the Galaxy S III (GT-I9300) to Android 4.3 from Android 4.1.2. Well, it kind of upgraded the device, however, the software was so bad that a lot of customers complained about not being able to wake up the phone, serious battery drains and UI heavy lag, which forced Samsung to suspend the roll out.
According to SamMobile sources, Samsung has resumed the Android 4.3 software update today but only in the UK for now, but it should be available soon in other countries as well. It depends on whether your phone is unlocked or locked to a particular carrier, as well as the slot available on Samsung servers, because the update is being deployed in stages.
If any of you manages to download and install it, please let us know in the comments down below if those previous problems are gone and how is the new build treating your device.
