Samsung’s entry-level line-up is going to be expanded for the holidays with a new member called Galaxy S Duos 2. It has leaked today and it’s, in fact, the successor of last year’s Galaxy S Duos smartphone.
The Galaxy S Duos 2, as the name suggests, is first and foremost, a dual-SIM phone. According to the image above, the design hasn’t changed from its predecessor by much, but the spec sheet tells us that the hardware department was the biggest subject of change. The RAM stays the same at 768MB, but the CPU was beefed up to 1.2GHz, and received an extra core. The rest of the hardware includes 4GB storage plus microSD slot, 5MP camera, 4-inch WVGA display, 1500mAh battery and Android 4.2 Jellybean.
The Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 is expected to come at a reasonable price in the coming weeks.
