Huawei Ascend P6S, the follow-up model of this years Chinese maker flagship phone has made another appearance before its announcement, in a form of live images of the device. They come from the Chinese FCC equivalent Tenaa, along with the specs of the new flagship.
As you can see from above, the refresh smartphone looks nearly identical to its predecessor, but we have to note that it gained 0.3 millimeters. Nevertheless, it’s still an attractive peace of technology.
The display of the Ascend P6S is the same 4.7-inch 720p unit found on Huawei Ascend P6, possibly altered a little bit for better performance. The chipset, on the other hand, is brand-new. It’s allegedly based on ARM’s big.LITTLE architecture with 2 high-powered Cortex-A15 cores and a duo of efficient Cortex-A7 ones. It packs the Mali-T658 GPU and 2GB RAM.
Speaking of cameras, Ascend P6S comes with the same 8MP – 5MP back/front camera combo found on the P6, which is a good thing to hear, as its predecessor was good in that department. It currently runs on Android 4.2.2 Jellybean, but there’s a high possibility that it launches with KitKat.
