Smartphones with a curved display is the new thing nowadays in the mobile world, and who better if not Samsung or LG, two of the top mobile makers to lead the way on this segment.
LG Electronics introduced over a week ago the LG G Flex, which packs a massive 6-inch POLED HD display, top-notch Snapdragon 800 CPU, Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 13MP camera and Android 4.2 Jellybean, however so far we knew nothing about its price tag and availability.
According to LG, LG G Flex will go on sale in Korea next week, November 12, for a spicy 999,900 WON, the equivalent of $940 USD. but still at least $50 less than Galaxy Round, which costs a little over $1000 USD.
Orange France customers will be among the first to have access to LG G Flex in Europe, according to the same press release, however its price tag is unknown for now. Our guess, the curved phone will be available through a 2-years contract deal under 500 Euros.
More information on other markets availability as soon as LG make such details public.
