Samsung Electronics introduced its 2013 flagship smartphone back in March. Since then, the leading industry manufacturer released several other variations of the Galaxy S4 (Galaxy S4 Active, Galaxy S4 Mini, Galaxy S4 Zoom), including an LTE-Advanced model (download speeds up to 150Mbps, upload seeds up to 50Mbps, Cat4, in areas where there is LTE-A coverage), which was first announced in Korea back in June.
The new Galaxy S4 with LTE-A technology has been introduced by Samsung Germany and it features Qualcomm newest chipset – Snapdragon 800, but other than that the specs are similar to the original version. The handset will be marketed in Germany and likely in other select markets under the name Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE+ (GT-I9506).
Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE+ or Galaxy S4 LTE-A (in case you are still confused) pricing and availability hasn’t been mentioned just yet, but we will update you on that as soon as possible.
