If you can all cast your minds back to the dying days of September, you’ll remember Oppo revealed their impressive Oppo N1, which was announced would come with a 1.7 GHz Snapdragon 600 processor, 5.9 inch 1080p display and a “O-touch” touch panel on the back which was essentially for scrolling through and taking pictures.
The N1 caused a stir for two different reasons, number one was the camera, not just because it was a 13 mega-pixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a dual LED flash. No, the main reason such a stir was created was because the camera was fully rotatable over 206 degrees, enabling you to take great photos from a range of different angles.
The second reason this phone really got people talking was the partnership between Oppo and cyanogen mod, in a world first, The Oppo N1 would be launched running stock android with a Cyanogen mod edition alongside it. It looks like Cyanogen mod has just given us the first clue of a release date found in a presentation titled “BBQ” which suggests the special edition will be launched towards the end of November this year.
