Chrome For Android Update Packs Gesture Navigation in Tow

Google Chrome for Android has just received a relatively important update. Apart from improving the speed and stability of the already-great browser, Google also managed to pack a couple of new useful features.

Probably the most important of them all is the implementation of a new gesture-based UI navigation. Accordingly, new gestures have been built-in for more seamless navigation between tabs and in the menu itself. A new swipe gesture has also seen the light of the sun, enabling us to quickly switch tabs by swiping horizontally across the top toolbar. Also, a long press on an image will trigger a Google search for related ones, a cool nifty feature indeed. And, last but not least, Chrome is now better integrated with Google Now, thus enabling the results from it appear faster.
