Nexus 5 hands-on video emerges on YouTube

Nexus 5

We’ve seen a lot of Nexus 5 related leaks accompanied by shots of various kinds but this might be the biggest leak to date. This time we won’t be treated with simple alleged pictures but a fully featured hands-on video depicting an early 16GB Nexus 5 prototype.

The 7-minute video doesn’t show much except for the device which is shown to be rather thin. It’s worth noting that we’re very likely looking at an unfinished version of Android 4.4 (here in French) as it still bears the Key Lime Pie moniker as opposed to KitKat.

This leak pretty much corroborates previous Android 4.4 user interface leaks, from the refined homescreen to the lockscreen with the repositioned clock. The early build of Android 4.4 shown appears to be an incremental upgrade judging from the video, of course things may be vastly different in the final deal.

We won’t have to wait long to see the Nexus 5 in its finished state, the latest report indicates that the Nexus 5 along with Android 4.4 KitKat are scheduled to be revealed Tuesday!
